About Me

My photo
Our story began in February 2001 when Tom and I met. Now 8 years later we are husband and wife and expecting our first child. The journey that has led us to this point has been amazing. Now with little Reese on her way we start a new chapter in our lives. Here is our Blog...

Snow Day...Kinda!!

Sunday Reese went to Snow Day at April Sound Church with Mommy and Aunt Kim. She was unsure of walking on the "snow" at first but quickly became interested in it. They had several fun activities including stringing a jingle bell necklace, decorating ginger cookies and making a reindeer faced tin bucket. The cookie eating part was definitely her most favorite while the Santa visit was her least favorite. We took a few rides on the choo choo train and she bounced out a lot of energy in the moonwalk. Thanks Aunt Kim for inviting us!!

Starting School!!

First I enjoyed a yummy breakfast!
Then I got dressed and grabbed my lunch!

But before leaving the house I changed my mind and changed my outfit!

Now I'm ready!

So many toys I don't know where to start!

Today I started Children's Day Out at my neighborhood church. I will be going on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am excited about making new friends.

Mommy Turns 30!

This year was the Big 3-0! I celebrated with several of my most favorite people. Starting with a yummy dinner at Vero's and then Painting with a Twist. I had so much FUN!

The Sweet Pea
11 week ultrasound
It was on January 9, 2009 that we learned we were going to be PARENTS. That morning when I got home from work I took a pregnancy test and when it came back positive, I rushed to the store for 2 more. That night when Tom got home from work I gave him the news between sobs. With all my crying, he was relieved to here we were expecting and not "I'm leaving". The next day he came home from work with beautiful flowers for his Mommy-to-be.
