Over the weekend...

We're Home!

We came home from the hospital Friday, September 18, 2009. It is an adjustment for the whole family but things are going good. Lucy met her little sister and seems to be taking the new addition well. Family came to visit on Saturday and little Reese slept through most of her visitors.

Welcome Reese!

September 16, 2009 at 12:15pm Miss Reese Kaylee Williams joined our family. Weighing 7lbs 5oz and 20 inches long, she is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Her grand entrance into the world started on September 15th, her Nana's birthday. I went to the doctor that morning and my BP again came back high. The doctor decided it was time to induce, so I was sent home to pack and told to return to the hospital at 4pm that night. The cytotec would start that night and pitocin would start the next morning. I started contracting more frequently and more intensly through the night so about 4am I got my epidural (what a life saver). I continued to progress, family began to gather and before we knew it little Reese was born.

40 weeks pregnant!

Well today is little Reese's due date but she seems quite content where she is at. I went to the doctor Friday and I was not dilated or showing any progression yet. I did, however, get admitted to the hospital over night for a high blood pressure and protein in my urine analysis. My feet enjoyed the 24 hour rest and I enjoyed the excuse not to work that night! I will return to the doctor Tuesday and may induce labor Tuesday night.

Miss Lucy

Not all of us are ready for a new baby. Little Lucy will have a big adjustment coming her way. She has been the baby of the house since we got her in July 2007. When we brought this car seat home, she jumped in thinking it was her new ride. I have a feeling little Reese and Lucy will be sharing a lot of their things.
